Indigenous Day of Action March

On June 24, 2010, on the eve of the G8/G20 summit, 3,000 people marched through Toronto on the traditional Territory of the Mississaugas in an Indigenous Day of Action in support of Indigenous rights.
Video artist Rebecca Garrett and poet Michael J. Paul-Martin have collaborated to create a video that articulates a vision of hope and solidarity on the eve of the G20 police debacle.
Rebecca Garrett is a Toronto based video artist who has been involved in community based video projects for over 20 years.
Michael J. Paul-Martin is a Cree poet originally from James Bay in Northern Ontario (Canada).
